01. Information Collection
As a decentralized marketplace platform, Castly limits data collection strictly to what is necessary for facilitating connections between buyers and sellers. When you create a collector account, browse garages, or initiate a purchase, we collect basic infrastructure data:
- Identity Data: Full name, email address, and phone number.
- Logistics Data: Shipping addresses, city, state, and pin codes.
- Interaction Data: Products you lock in your cart, garages you follow, and order history.
Castly DOES NOT collect, process, or store credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or any sensitive financial data.
02. Seller Data Sharing & Financials
To enable fulfillment, your shipping information and contact details are explicitly shared with the specific seller(s) you transact with. By placing an order, you consent to this transfer of data.
All financial transactions are routed directly to the seller's integrated payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree) or via direct UPI intent.
When you click "Pay," your financial data is handled securely and exclusively by these RBI-approved third-party gateways and the seller. Castly has zero visibility into the payment processing layer. Sellers are strictly prohibited by our Terms of Service from misusing buyer logistics data for unsolicited marketing.
03. Security Protocols
We deploy industry-standard encryption protocols, secure tokenized authentication, and strict database access controls to safeguard your personal infrastructure data against unauthorized access, destruction, or alteration.
While we secure the platform interface and your account data, please remember that no transmission over the internet is completely impregnable. Keep your login credentials secure.
04. Grievance Redressal
In compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the subsequent rules, we maintain a dedicated Grievance Redressal Mechanism for reporting data privacy breaches or platform concerns.
